Kartonagen Müller was founded in 1897 as a bookbinding shop. At that time, the rapidly growing industry was looking for winding cores to wind and package the ever-increasing volumes of fabric and paper. This situation transformed us into a specialist manufacturer of all kinds of winding cores such as winding boards, hard paper tubes and their associated packaging.

100 years after being founded, the responsibility for the company lies solely in the hands of the family’s fourth generation. Over 100 qualified employees work in the Wörth/Donau and Mühltroff/Vogtland plants, manufacturing on some 12,500 m² of modern equipment lines that reflect state-of-the-art technology at all times. Our quality management system is certified to DIN ISO 9001:2015.

In the commercial and technical areas, we train young employees in both plants in order to ensure quality, technical advancement and reliable delivery readiness for the future. Because our company is a manageable size, new ideas and developments for individual applications can be quickly put into practice. A development department with a modern test lab helps us do this.
